Install Audio Board Headers

Next is to install the stacking headers onto the Audio Adapter Board. The stacking headers are longer than the audio board so the Teensy module can still plug in on top.

Start with installing the standard male headers for the line out functions.

Adding the Headers

Install and solder headers as shown

• Next we will install the Female Stacking Headers onto the Audio Adapter Board.

  • Place the connectors on the board, the connectors will be longer than the Audio Board, as they will match the Teensy Board.

  

  Place the Teensy with header into the sockets to help align it all.

Flip the assembly over to so the headers can be soldered to the Audio Adapter board.

Critical! Solder the Stacking Headers to the Audio Adapter Board.
